  • Responsible for managing a book of Small to Mid-Market Commercial business
  • Service all aspects of an account by taking inbound calls, consulting and advising clients on policy changes, and processing all additional paperwork
  • Review the accuracy of policy documents prior to their delivery to the client
  • Responsible for the preparation of proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews for existing clients
  • Manage account documentation (i.e., routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statements of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations
  • Review client’s current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements
  • Maintains up-to-date workflow documentation and ensures workflows are followed
  • Ensure accurate and timely servicing and billing of accounts
  • Preparing comparison quotations on renewals where necessary, and in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with company underwriters
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, staff, and other Departments


  • An active and in good standing RIBO license is required
  • Minimum 2-8 years of commercial insurance experience
  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
