SMI is looking for a permanent, full-time Claims Adjusters to join our growing team in a remote position based out of Regina. Reporting to the Manager, Claims & Administration, the successful candidates will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling Personal Lines, Auto, Farm, Commercial, Liability and Injury claims. Experience in and knowledge of insurance principles and practices is necessary for this position.
The successful candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the industry and an active involvement in completion of the CIP designation. This position requires an individual with an outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication, as well as strong interviewing and negotiation skills. The position requires regular travel, including overnight stays.
