Full-Time CL Marketer/Account Manager

Job Description
Our client is a well established Brokerage firm with an excellent reputation located in the 401 and 404 area.
Our client continues to grow serving Canadians from coast-to-coast for their domestic and international insurance needs. Currently operating from 8 different offices and with over 185 employees and in excess of $130 million in volume.
They are currently looking to add a new broker to their team.
This individual’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Managing an assigned portfolio of commercial clients and marketing of selected accounts/opportunities
Analyzing client coverages, exposures and loss experience, to determine risk requirements
Managing/handling daily service requirements of clients and prospects
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of policy documentation/requests
Maintaining professional relationships with underwriters, co-workers and clients
Attending training and other business related courses
Qualifications:
5+ years experience servicing a Commercial Lines book in a client and/or producer facing capacity
Strong understanding of commercial insurance market and products
RIBO license, active and in good standing is required
Ontario drivers license with own vehicle
Other industry designations such as CIP, CAIB etc. would be considered a definite asset
Skills:
Excellent organizational, written & oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter with advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, PolicyWorks and The Agency Manager (TAM)
