We develop intricate, innovative software that is simple to use and saves workers hours each day. Currently, we provide the solution to the insurance industry, offering brokerages a one-stop location for organizational workflows as well as all their carrier underwriting information, including custom-made comparisons, documents, training, and helpful tools.

We are seeking a knowledgeable individual with Canadian P&C insurance and Business Development experience. Ideal candidates are friendly, outgoing, creative, and organized, with an enthusiasm for making brokers’ lives better on a daily basis.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the primary responsibilities of the position will be:

  1. Attainment of monthly new pipeline growth goals through inbound and outbound prospecting.
  2. Identify new potential sales avenues through new target markets or product opportunities.
  3. Attend regional events to meet new prospects and build relationships.

Other day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Moving sales opportunities through the sales pipeline to a close
  • Hunting for new access routes into prospective companies
  • Hosting QuickFacts demo calls and negotiating contracts.
  • Researching brokerages, brokers, associations, and more to understand clients’ needs and opportunities better.
  • Experimenting with different cold outreach methods to viable prospects
  • Being the eyes and ears for sales-related feedback that leads to an increased close ratio
  • Maintaining internal records and continually suggesting improvements to any administrative aspects of the sales organization
  • Utilize established HubSpot CRM to track progress and identify trends
  • Contribute as a team player to the rest of the QuickFacts teams
  • Helping develop content and messaging that facilitates the expansion of our overall sales organization
  • Daily stand-ups with CRO


  • Strong organizational skills – Ability to plan out sales tactics and is driven by achieving targets
  • Passionate about building strong relationships with customers
  • An excellent communicator who can effectively convey ideas and emotions via email, phone, video conferencing and in-person interactions
  • A high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
  • Solution-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and have proper work-from-home space
  • Willingness to learn and build professional skills
  • Proficient in the English Language

What we’d love to see in your previous work experience:

  • An insurance background is required
  • Post-Secondary Degree an asset
  • B2B selling/business development experience
  • Cold prospecting experience
  • Valid Driver’s license and vehicle 
  • Closing experience in SaaS as an asset
