Bilingual Commercial Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster Level 2

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide brilliant service by facilitating prompt and equitable settlements of moderate to complex automobile claims. You must have the ability to act decisively and work with a high degree of autonomy. Working in a team environment, you will need strong interpersonal and customer service skills to be able to effectively build strong business relationships with customers, brokers and team members. We request all interested applicants be flexible between the hours of 7:00am – 8:00pm (EST). In addition, the Service Centre is operational 24/7 and on all weekends and Statutory Holidays; therefore you may be scheduled to work on these days and during peak periods should the business needs arise. This opportunity can be located in Mississauga or Richmond Hill.

• You will interact with our broker partners and independent adjusters
• Adjudicate and control moderate to complex commercial and heavy trucking accounts

• You will identify and manage SIU files
• You will organize and facilitate training opportunities
• Contribute to special projects
• Go above and beyond current role expectations
• You will be a go to person for colleagues, brokers, leadership team
• You will demonstrate leadership behaviors

What you bring to this role
• 3-5 years’ experience handling automobile damage claims
• Your strength is in handling commercial lines claims, with a focus on heavy trucking, environment, and downtime claims
• You have experience directing and managing independent adjusters and appraisers
• You have or are nearing completion of your CIP
• You have experience in broker management, including presenting to broker groups
• You are comfortable handling customer service escalations and complaints
• Experience in tort jurisdictions
• You can manage excel and management information reports
• Excellent presentation skills
• Superior time management skills
• Previous call center experience
• Additional technical skills may include management of third party property damage, business interruption and cargo claims
• Experienced with contract interpretation to assist with legal defense strategies
• Must be highly organized and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
