Full-Time Administrative Assistant, National Risk Consulting Services

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, highly organized and self-motivated administrative Assistant to join our National Risk Consulting Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anticipatory support on a variety of key administrative functions essential to the smooth operation of the team. Your Impact:

  • Assist in compiling various reports, correspondence and documents as required to ensure the efficient operation of Risk Consulting Services
  • Book meetings, catering and additional travel logistics including hotel, airline reservations, and off-site meeting coordination
  • Take accurate minutes of meetings
  • Administer the department SharePoint site
  • Administer the flow of information (make copies, receive and send faxes, incoming and outgoing mail, emails and other hard copy materials)
  • Maintain coverage forms for policy issuance system including formatting new wordings, deploying to system and maintaining related indexes
  • Develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with external contacts, management and staff
  • Compiling expense reports and processing invoice payments and submit for approval
  • Provide assistance to team members and other departments as required

 

Your Expertise:

  • 2 – 5 years of administrative assistant experience in a professional office environment
  • Previous general insurance experience an asset
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a dynamic environment, while demonstrating a strong customer service mindset
  • High degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint preferred)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
