Full-Time Accounts Assistant

Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Imperial Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will work alongside the Director Personal Lines to perform various administrative duties, including inputting new business and marketing documents, setting up new business proposals, servicing clients, and handling other tasks related to our growing book of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generate certificates of insurance
• Issue liability slips for renewals, endorsements, and new business
• Assist with processing documents for renewals, endorsements, and new business
• Run driver record and other related reports
• Generate applications and forms
• Update premium comparisons, summaries, and executive summaries
• Input and update claims and new client information into EPIC (Broker Management System)
• Assist with performing Auto Quotes on Compu-Quote
• Assist with sending renewal requests to clients 100 days in advance
• Assist with processing mail and endorsements for the team
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Processing paperwork related to insurance policies
• Communicating with clients to answer questions and address concerns
• Coordinating with insurance carriers to obtain policy information and request changes to policies as needed

REQUIREMENTS
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience with EPIC preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to learn new software(s) quickly
• RIBO license preferred or working or willing to work towards it
• Client development/relationship management experience is required
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task, an initiative-taker
