INTERMEDIATE / SENIOR LEVEL AUTOMOBILE BI / PD INDEPENDENT ADJUSTER – LONDON, ONTARIO
An intermediate/senior level independent adjuster is required for this growing boutique adjusting firm whose head office is located in Mississauga, Ontario dealing with claims in the automobile, property, and casualty risk markets.
Our client has been an innovative provider of professional services to clients in the Canadian insurance market since 2014. As a boutique independent adjusting firm their focus is in offering modern solutions while providing their clients with a new option within the field of claims adjusting. Based on professional service with a personal touch, staff take pride in providing consistent high quality claims service from in-take to claim resolution.
The successful candidate will be based in the LONDON area and will have the opportunity to work from home due to the clients web based claims system.
Job Details
The candidate is responsible for identifying and exceeding the expectations of the customer including ensuring the timely and thorough investigation of all claims in order to confirm coverage, assess liability, eligibility, exposure, and or entitlement. The candidate must provide efficient and prompt investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of all claims in accordance with the regulations, guidelines, and best practices of the client and the adjusting company.
Employment Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following:
5 – 10 years experience as an independent adjuster handing automobile bodily injury claims, and physical damage claims
Experience in handling property damage claims of moderate complexity
Experience handling casualty claims of a moderate complexity
Field adjusting experience
Probationary or Full Adjusters License
CIP designation or working toward such designation
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong report writing skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Detailed oriented
Self Motivated
Excellent organization and time management skills
Compensation
Commensurate with experience
