Full-Time Technical Service Representative
Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Uploading new applications and policy changes through our Broker Management System Powerbroker and through insurance company portals
- Updating client files in our Broker Management System
- Reception duties – answer multi line telephone system; greet clients; receiving, sorting and posting mail; distributing faxes; sorting incoming courier; preparing outgoing courier
- Electronic scanning of documents
- Invoicing and distribution of courier
- Daily electronic download
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Broker Management System Powerbroker
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook & Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, and follow-up on uncompleted tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fast paced and electronic file environment
- Ability to work with a multiline phone system
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Insurance Company Portals
- Previous General Insurance experience
