Full-Time Senior Field ClaimCare Advisor, Hamilton
Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, claims professional to join our team! Reporting to the ClaimCare Supervisor, Commercial Property in Cambridge, you will be responsible for the field investigation and settlement of claims within the Hamilton Region. You will also participate on our Catastrophic ClaimCare Response Team. Providing quality service to our customers is essential in this role, whether on task assignments or handling files.
Our Senior Field ClaimCare Advisor will have strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills, along with a passion for providing great customer service in a variety of claims scenarios.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years claims adjusting experience is required; including senior complex losses.
- Field claims handling experience preferred.
- Experience in multiple lines of business preferred.
- University degree, college diploma or equivalent experience.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimating system is required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Working towards achieving their CIP designation.
- Proficient skill with computer applications including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and to work to deadlines.
- Ability to travel as required.
