OPERATIONS MANAGER – CLAIMS SIU

Experienced Operations Manager

Our client is a licensed niche firm operating in the Province of Ontario. Headquartered in Barrie, Ontario, and Sub Office in Toronto. They offer a full range of sophisticated private investigative services including surveillance, WSIB investigations, complex and sensitive criminal cases, corporate and insurance investigations conducted by the Special Investigations Unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and training of field investigators
  • Schedule assignments to investigators
  • Oversee day to day operations
  • Provide regular updates to clients
  • Review, edit and assist in the production of detailed reports
  • Conduct employee reviews
  • Participate in, and assist with, tradeshows and various committee functions
  • Reports directly to President & CEO

Experience:

  • A combination of experience in the following areas is required
  • 10 years investigation; SIU Insurance; police background; private investigation background; legal knowledge; and private enterprise
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills and communication
  • Flexible approach to achieving goals; team-player; collaborative.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong follow up and customer focused approach
  • Financial management skills, including ability to prepare budgets, manages against a budget, including variance analysis and explanation, forecasting and preparation of business cases.
