COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITING MANAGER

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for underwriting, profitability, growth and retention
- Hire, develop and retain staff
- Execute business strategy, lead change and drive results
- Create and sustain a dynamic work environment
- Create opportunities to expand roles to match employees’ strengths
- Delegate underwriting authority to staff
- Participate in broker planning process
- Identify and deliver broker and product solutions
- Act as liaison between Underwriting, Sales and Operations
- Build partnerships with other business groups
- Identify and deliver broker and product solutions
Qualifications:
- University or College grad
- CIP/ CRM /FCIP
- Highly skilled in all lines of Commercial underwriting
- A leader who energizes others to commit to achieving high standards
- Proven track record of effectively leading through change
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
