Responsibilities:
- Create and influence business strategies & translate into executable business plans (pricing, product development, growth and profitability)
- Support and enhance a learning culture
- Influence decisions regarding growth by deployment of sales resources
- Partner with Claims department to maximize effectiveness while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Articulate financial results and impact of strategy to senior management
Qualifications:
- University Grad
- CIP/FCIP
- 15+ years of progressively responsible and successful experience in Personal Lines product management, pricing and underwriting
- Thorough understanding of competitors and alternative markets
- Expert relationship-builder with strong negotiation skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to attract and nurture top talent
- Highly developed critical thinking skills
