APRIL is an Insurance Wholesaler (MGA) catering exclusively to insurance Brokers. We provide insurance products and services that are flexible, competitive and adapted to the needs of the insured’s.
We are currently looking for an Underwriting Assistant / Processor for our Calgary office. The main directive of this position is to assist with our underwriting team to provide our clients and brokers with the highest quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Logging and mapping quote
- Assist the underwriter with the endorsements, renewals and new business
- Entering data into various platforms
- Ensuring accurate processing of policy documentation;
- Handling routine inquiries and facilitating endorsement requests;
- Filing
- Data entry and invoicing transactions;
- Answering and transferring calls
- Handling of accounting related questions for policy and billing accuracy;
- Additional support office duties.
Qualifications
- Experience with SigXP & Policy Works Insurance Documentation Issuance System
- post-secondary degree or relevant experience in the insurance industry
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
