JOB DESCRIPTION
Distribution & handling of Facultative Queue
Input information to Online Underwriting system to create Reserve (Facultative)
- Secure current risk/submission files for underwriting review
- Set up submission files including eFac Re Submissions
- Update submissions to Bound when required
Input Binder/Certificate information & Issue Binders/Certificates
- Send documentation to Cede/Source DMS
- Diary for outstanding documentation
- Set up diaries and follow up with Source Client
- DMS documentation for Submission/Underwriting
- Complete AIR
Issue Certificate & Endorsement documents (Facultative)
Quality Control data to system/documents
- DMS Documentation
Handle diaries as due
Includes maintenance of on-line diary system
- Communication with Source Client for outstanding documentation
Review Ceding Company Policies (Facultative Property)
Consult with underwriter over coverage discrepancies
- Communicate discrepancies with Source Client
- Set up endorsements for underwriting review where necessary
Review of Premium & Commission discrepancies
Communicate with Source Client and follow up for response
- Communicate with Underwriters to receive approval to clear discrepancy
- Communicate with Accounting Manager to obtain Agreement with a discrepancy
Various Administrative Duties including but not limited to:
- Responsible for Opening, stamping & delivery of all incoming mail
- Responsible for sending out mail via Canada Post/ICS/UPS
- Ordering of General Office Supplies
- Ordering/Purging of Files from Iron Mountain
- Entry of Cheques in Cheque Register & delivery of cheques to the bank
- Photopying & Mailing of Chques that have been processed by Accounting
- Handling of Terrorism Report which include running the report, clearing the names in TIRS & sending report

Secure current risk/submission files for underwriting review
- Set up submission files where required
- Save submissions/documentations to Treaty Shared “I” Drive
- Update submissions to Authorize, Bound, Closed, Decline, Cancellation when required
- Set up diaries where necessary
- Set up underwriting risk files and diaries for Outstanding documentation (where necessary)
- Update Contract Log
- Update Checklist
- PNOC Letters to Source
- DMS documentation for Submission/Underwriting Files
