TEAM LEADER, PERSONAL LINES
The Team Leader role is to provide training, coaching and mentoring to employees to offer our clients with exceptional service. The role is also responsible for establishing practices / processes to enhance client service, gain operational efficiencies, increase client retention and to be compliant with quality assurance standards. The role is also required to perform the duties of Account Manager and/or Customer Service Broker.
Core Responsibilities:
In addition to performing the duties of Account Manager / Customer Service Broker, the responsibilities of the position also include:
– Responsible for motivating and monitoring Account Managers / Customer Service Brokers
– Implement administrative and operational policies and practices as directed by the Manager
– Ensure team’s adherence to set workflows, underwriting criteria and compliance to guidelines and controls
– Responsible for conducting individual audits semi-annually
– Perform other quality assurance functions as needed to ensure adherence to standards
– Implement on going employee evaluations, training and development activities to ensure service standards are met
– Responsible for attendance tracking and ensure staffing levels are appropriate to meet service standards
– Respond to and document all client escalations within guidelines
– Attend appropriate industry functions
– Act as point of contact for the team members on all issues
– Other duties as required
Education / Qualifications:
– Minimum of 8 years relevant insurance and/or industry related experience
– 5 years RIBO License required
