Full-Time Team Leader – Personal lines
Job Description
Our Client a large brokerage firm in the GTA has a vacancy for a Team Leader for an affiliate branch that one of their highly successful Producers has opened. A small branch they are looking for someone you can manage a small team while maintaining relationships with Insurance partners and develop new business as well as ensure daily tasks are completed and Clients are satisfied.
A large brokerage employing over 40 people they offer good benefits, stability and a great work enviornment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team including the hiring, development, retention, reward and motivation of staff
·Assist and provide support to producers when required
·Manage underwriting referral process with staff and be able to communicate with markets clearly and concisely to convey individual account underwriting requirements within binding authority guidelines and within company underwriting strategy
·Manage the continuous improvement of people and processes including account allocation, workload planning and prioritization, training & development, goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
· Assist in the management of the office
·Maintain and develop strong relationships with key partners to develop business opportunities. Attend client and industry functions as required
·Monitor and understand business performance and results on a continual basis – identifying and managing issues in addition to opportunities to improve growth, profitability and service.
·Provide technical expertise and advice regarding products, systems, and processes
·Identify, investigate, and develop new business/expansion opportunities
·Participate in file reviews & audits
·Provide exceptional day to day customer service to clients answering client questions and addressing concerns
·Processing policy changes
Qualifications:
RIBO
6 years industry experience, 2 years current management experience
with management of at least 3 person’s or more
