SENIOR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY CLAIMS SPECIALIST
Location: anywhere in Canada

Responsibilities:
- Manage, investigate, analyze, negotiate and resolve large complex claims.
- Engage and manage external counsel, consultants, independent adjusters, accountants and engineers.
- Lead, supervise, guide and provide technical advice to regional file handlers.
- Audit regional claims files.
- Train staff on claims handling procedures.
- Work with underwriting and loss prevention to identify potential risks, hazards and trends
- Completion of monthly open & closed file reviews
- Provide monthly progress reports and updates
Qualifications:
- 10 + years of handling complex commercial property claims
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- University Grad
- CIP
