Senior Commercial Marketer
Are you a senior commercial marketer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience?
Have you handled mid to large commercial accounts?
Would you like to work for a brokerage located in Toronto’s financial district close to GO and TTC?
Job Duties
- Negotiate terms with insurers for new business and renewals.
- Communicate with Account Executives and/or Producers to provide status of accounts
- Prepare and review analysis of proposed terms from Underwriters to be provided to Account Managers and Account Executives;
- Provide Account Executives with premium comparisons, proposals, terms and binders.
- Review wordings when required
- Collect and prepare quarterly volume reports from insurers
- Prepare annual budget for department
- Attend industry events where required
- Participate in presentations when required
- Organize internal and/or external resources to provide RIBO licensing courses for staff
Requirements for position:
- Knowledge of Commercial Property Casualty and Automobile
- Understanding of markets and market appetites
- Minimum 10 years experience brokering with a customer service orientation
- RIBO license
- Good interpersonal. communication and negotiation skills
- Good skills in Microsoft Office
- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure of competing deadlines
- Experience in marketing transportation and/or environmental accounts an asset.
