What does a Sales Operations Manager (Financial Services) look like at Western?
Reporting to the Director, Southern Alberta, our Sales Operations Manager is responsible for driving our financial services business strategy and providing guidance to the field team in an effort to deliver on business results. They will continue to grow the team and develop an effective group of Account Executives within Western Canada. Every employee has a direct influence on our brand in the communities that they serve, through the excellent service and support they provide.
The success of you and your team stems from your proven ability to lead a remote sales teams to achieve targets consistently, by delivering a positive customer experience. You will assist and coach your team on developing prospecting and outreach strategies for your regions. - Leading and guiding the Financial Services Account Executives through full cycle sales to meet targeted results
- Effectively managing the full cycle performance of your sales team
- Engaging, representing and building relationships at all levels of our Network branch locations and with Head Office partners
- Implementing and monitoring programs and business initiatives
- Establishing and enhancing Westerns presence and profile in the market place
- Participating or leading presentations to employees and other business partners
- Collaborating with other business units to align business support with operational directives

- Full Life License is essential – additional insurance qualifications are an asset
- Proven history in a leadership role in support of a remote sales team
- Experience that required prospecting activity in a variety of geographic areas/industries
- Recognized as a leader with a proven track record of exceeding business goals and targets
- Experience in recruitment, staff development and performance management
- Involvement in industry related associations and your community
Specifics:
- High River, Alberta
- Full Time – 37.5 hours/week
- Monday – Friday schedule
- Travel Required
