Full-Time Risk Analyst Coordinator
Job Description
Our Client a large Insurance company in business for over 20 years is looking to add to their existing team an insurance Risk analyst. Over 40 years of Insurance industry and staffing over 30 employees the company offers a strong compensation package along with growth potential and a stable long term insurance career.
Responsibilities:
Log new commitments in the internal Canrisc App.
Assign new commitments to an Analyst via the internal Canrisc App.
Assemble hard copy file for each new commitment.
Review new commitments to ensure all information is included prior to handing off to an Analyst.
Liaise with Lenders to obtain any missing commitment information.
Liaise with brokers to obtain the Certificate of Insurance, or any other pertinent information the Analyst may require.
Follow-up with Lenders and Brokers alike, as per the request of the Analyst.
Assist in drafting Acceptance Letters.
Answer phone calls directed to Customer Service.
Check Customer Service emails in a timely fashion (4 times per day at minimum).
Maintain Lender and Broker contact information in the Canrisc database.
Responsible for taking meeting minutes at weekly status meetings and dispersing to the team.
Other miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualifications:
3-5 years in a similar administrative role
University Degree or College Diploma
Working toward CRM, CIP and/or CAIB
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiar with the concept of Risk Management and process involved in an assessment.
Familiar with the operations of Internet web based portals and administering document repositories.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated outgoing team player, able to effectively multi task.
Experience working with all levels of Management.
Bilingual (French) is an asset.
