PRODUCTION UNDERWRITER – Commercial Lines

Responsibilities:
- Identify business development opportunities & conduct frequent meetings with brokers
- Market company’s products and services and deliver product presentations to brokers
- Underwrite new business
- Develop new brokerage contracts
- Achieve sales goals
- Develop and implement regional marketing plan
- Underwrite and negotiate renewal of complex accounts
- Provide technical training and mentoring to developing Underwriters
Qualifications:
- University/College Grad
- CIP/FCIP or working towards
- A minimum of 5 years’ Commercial underwriting experience
- Proven sales/marketing experience
- Ability to foster and build sustained relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to motivate others
