Position Summary:

HUB International continues to grow and seeking a Personal Lines Sales Advisor, Retail Accounts to join our dynamic Private Client Group downtown Toronto. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who can provide outstanding customer experience and effectively cross and upsell our HUB products. This role requires an experienced Personal Lines Broker with strong multitasking and sales skills.  This role reports to the Vice President, Private Client Group.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prompt response to all customer inquiries by providing effective and efficient customer service to verbal and written inquiries for Personal Lines Retail Home and Auto.
  • Respond to inbound telephone inquiries
  • Ensuring retention targets are met, including by means of re-marketing.
  • New Business sales
  • Cross-selling other insurance and financial products based on the minimum requirements.
  • Upselling to existing clients. Placing outgoing touch base calls.
  • Completing outbound calls as required for renewal review and special projects
  • Resolving client concerns and complaints while ensuring that Service Excellence Standards are met.
  • Lead generation support for Commercial Lines and Wealth Management products

Qualifications and Experience:

  • RIBO License
  • College Diploma/University Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience as a Personal Lines Broker
  • Strong retail sales experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with Epic/TAM insurance systems an asset
  • Team player able to work within production and service teams.
