Full-Time Policy Processing Analyst
Job Description
Position Type: Regular, Full-Time (Two positions are available, however at least one must be bilingual in English and French)
We are looking for two, team oriented and enthusiastic individuals to join the National Risk Consulting Services group in our Calgary office. The successful candidates will provide critical business processing support in an efficient and timely manner. This is the ideal role for someone who is attentive to detail, has intermediate to advanced excel skills, and strives to provide exceptional customer service.
Your Impact:
- Perform the entry of new business, renewals or endorsements into the system:
- Through manual entry, or
- By bordereau upload as may be required
- Issue policy documentation, notices of cancellation, decline or lapse letters as required
- Update claims information
- Review bordereau data and complete test runs to identify, investigate and resolve upload errors that may occur before uploading into production environments
- Consult with broker when we require additional underwriting information or when there are concerns with bordereau upload data
- Investigate all accounting or bordereau premium discrepancies, resolve or escalate as needed
- Prepare file set ups based on criteria assigned
- Review error reports as required
- Maintain effective relationships and portray a professional image with co-workers and industry contacts
- Assist other team members as may be required in order to ensure the team provides exceptional service to our client partners
- Create and maintain training or process documentation
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Your Expertise:
- Previous Commercial Insurance experience is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and pride in quality of work
- Committed to providing superior customer service
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Prior project experience and/or system testing considered an asset
