This national insurer is looking for an energetic, career minded individual to join their Personal Lines Underwriting team. Reporting to the Personal Lines Manager, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of brokers, provide detailed underwriting and risk analysis on personal insurance policies, and quality customer service to a group of our brokers.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A minimum of 3 years personal lines underwriting experience.
- University degree/college diploma or equivalent experience would be an asset.
- Working towards achieving their CIP designation would be an asset
- Ability to develop and maintain positive business partnerships with brokers and policy holders.
- Proficient skill with computer applications including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
