Leads provided to a strong sales Broker looking to make the sale along with making a bae salary.This position is one that is fast paced and forever evolving! Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries
Quoting / Closing sales (up sell, cross sell)
Attain premium sales targets
Placing business with the right market
Vast understanding of insurance company’s products Quality business
Following up on leads
Qualifications:
Insurance (RIBO or OTL) License – Min 2 years’ experience selling home and auto insurance, preferably in a brokerage environment
Proven sales track record
Personal and Commercial Lines underwriting knowledge
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Professional telephone manner
Organizational skills (multi-tasking, time management)
Understanding of insurance software and rating engines
Understanding of market relations
After hours’ availability (required to be “on-call” evenings and alternating weekends)
