Full-Time Personal lines Assistant
Job Description
Our Client a large brokerage of 100 + employees is looking to fill a vacancy for a personal lines assistant.
In business for 60 years + they have recently merged with another very large brokerage. They offer benefits, stability, a good working environment along with support of employee development, training and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
You will be our back up contact with clients for service related issues.
· Clear communication and quality telephone skills are very fundamental to your success.
· It is important that you ask your clients for referrals.
· Alert your team members to industry related issues requiring action or further communication.
· You will be asked to complete weekly tracking forms. Please do so promptly and accurately.
· When interacting with your clients, look for opportunities to up sell related and relevant coverages (such as optional accident benefits, water damage coverage, valuable articles floaters, claims protection etc.).
· Maintain complete and accurate client activity notes on SigXp.
· Maintain current and up to date voice mail log books
· Return voice mail messages within 2 hours
· Maintain suspense and keeping current (within 5 days)
Working closely with the New Business Underwriter and Account Executives, Setting up new customers screens. Entering additional info from completed applications Setting and reviewing suspense’s according to the relevant task. Performing uploads to Insurer web-sites or portals. Run daily MVR reports and distribute. Download and distribute the Ez-leads. Document when quotes and applications are received from Client Managers
Qualifications:
R.I.B.O. license required
Three to five years of successful customer service experience in a brokerage.
Familiarity with SigXp considered an asset Fluency in a second language is beneficial.
