Personal Lines Account Manager (New Business Division)

Job Description:
– Quoting and selling insurance policies by phone, in-person and via internet/web
– Cross selling additional lines of business to existing clients
– Reviewing coverages, educating and assisting customers regarding their insurance needs
Requirements / Qualifications:
– Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License
– 3+ Years of Personal Lines Insurance Broker experience
– Successful with closing new sales and cross sell opportunities
– Insurance company product and portal knowledge an asset (Intact, Aviva, Economical, Wawanesa)
– Experience with the Applied System (TAM) and Compu Quote an asset
– Well organized
– Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently without much supervision
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Adaptable to change
