What does a Manager, Online Insurance Sales do at Western?

This role will function within the Network Business team to help develop the new insurance online sales strategy. All our employees have a direct influence on our brand in the communities they serve through the excellent service and support they provide.

 

The success of you and your team stems from your ability to lead, inspire, engage, develop and effectively manage a high performance team of insurance professionals in a contact centre, to execute the online sales strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing annual plans and online quoting sales strategy’s, ensuring they support the overall corporate and Network growth targets.  You have the opportunity to develop and manage a collaborative and motivated team, working directly with multiple departments, to contribute to the achievement of our online insurance sales goals.

 

  • Develop and execute a broad range of online sales activities related to the strategic direction of the organization
  • Introduce, maintain and enhance Western’s presence in the marketplace by collaborating with other departments to  promote our online services
  • Identify the educational requirements and performance objectives of your team to support them to achieve consistent sales growth
  • Develop processes to support online sales strategy and ensure that revenues and budgets are consistently met

What we are looking for:

Being successful in this role requires an ability to establish new processes while leading your team to deliver excellent service, while contributing to a positive work environment by encompassing our Guiding Principles.

 

  • CAIB or Level 2 General Insurance License is required
  • Proven history of managing a team of insurance professionals in a sales environment to achieve or exceed business objectives consistently
  • Prior experience developing and implementing an online/digital sales strategy would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of Rating Services and EPIC is an asset
  • Previous experience collaborating with shared service departments to develop and enhance your presence in the marketplace
  • Professional communication style, both written and verbal

 

Specifics:

 

  • High River, AB
  • Full Time – 37.5 hours/week (flexible hours will be required)
  • Contact Centre hours : Monday to Friday (8:00am – 8:00pm)
