Position Overview

We are currently hiring for a Junior/Intermediate Property Field Claims adjuster who will work from our Brampton office and on the road in the Greater Toronto area.

The successful candidate will evaluate small to mid size property (residential and commercial) claims through loss investigation and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, with a focus on quality and customer service.

 

 Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Accountabilities

• Minimum 2-3 years with property (residential and commercial) claims handling experience.
• After-hours availability and response.
• Experience in investigation and reporting of property claims.
• Excellent PC skills.
• Able to conduct an investigation of origin and cause, loss control and negotiation skills.
• Valid Ontario Drivers Licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working towards full license and CIP designation.
• Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
