JUNIOR – INTERMEDIATE AUTO PHYSICAL DAMAGE/CASUALTY ADJUSTER – THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR
MIDTOWN TORONTO
A junior to intermediate level adjuster is required in the Toronto office for this multinational third party administrator that provides premier claims management services across Canada and all over the world.
Located in midtown Toronto south of the 401, their office is located close to York Mills subway station. The successful candidate will be managing auto physical damage, garage liability, and also commercial general liability claims that are minor in complexity with an opportunity to grow and develop their technical skills within the company.
Job Details
The candidate is responsible for investigation, evaluation, disposition, and settlement of all claims consistent with the client, and company policies, procedures, and best practices while adhering to statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements. The candidate must be able to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activities, serve clients, negotiate effectively, and embrace new challenges. This is an in-house claims handling position.
Employment Requirements
minimum three years experience in automobile physical damage
experience in commercial general liability claims of minor complexity
partially or fully licensed
exceptional customer service
exceptional verbal and written skills
pleasant telephone manner
strong time management and organizational skills
proficient with the Microsoft suite of programs (office, word, excel, powerpoint)
past retail experience an asset
self motivated
