Full-Time Intermediate Automobile BI/PD Independent Adjuster
Job Description
INTERMEDIATE AUTOMOBILE BI/PD INDEPENDENT ADJUSTER required for this boutique adjusting firm located in Mississauga, Ontario dealing with claims in the automobile, property, and casualty risk markets.

Based on professional service with a personal touch, staff take pride in providing consistent high quality claims service from in-take to claim resolution.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to choose from a number of work location arrangements including working on site in the Mississauga office, office hoteling, or working from home. Also, in the near future the firm plans for expansion with an office in Whitby.
Job Details
The candidate is responsible for identifying and exceeding the expectations of the customer including ensuring the timely and thorough investigation of all claims in order to confirm coverage, assess liability, eligibility, exposure, and or entitlement. The candidate must provide efficient and prompt investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of all claims in accordance with the regulations, guidelines, and best practices of the client and the adjusting company.
Employment Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following:
Minimum 5 years experience as an independent adjuster handing automobile bodily injury claims, and physical damage claims
Experience in handling property damage claims of moderate complexity
Experience handling casualty claims of moderate complexity
Field adjusting experience
Must hold a Probationary or Full Adjusters License
CIP designation or working toward such designation
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong report writing skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Detailed oriented
Self Motivated
Excellent organization and time management skills
Compensation
