Job Description

INSIDE SALES SUPPORT

A full member of the health insurance brokerage sales team, the successful candidate will actively contribute to the growth of sales through existing customer support and market development efforts.

The incumbent will work in close collaboration with the brokerage Business Development Managers to identify sales opportunities, contact potential clients by phone and, as required, book meetings to help meet sales objectives

The successful candidate will also help support the Business Development Managers to retain clients and generate broker loyalty by supporting our existing network.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Prospect business development opportunities with brokerage firms;
  • Evaluate the sales potential of brokers and identify opportunities
  • Develop a daily and weekly calling plan to ensure that sales activities and objectives are met;
  • Host training sessions on software and health insurance products for brokers;
  • Follow up on each broker’s sales progression;
  • Provide our brokers with sales strategies, concepts, and marketing ideas to help them increase their sales;
  • Act as a resource person for our brokers regarding our health insurance products;
  • Organize meetings between Business Development Managers and potential clients, as required;
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes linked with solicitation campaigns, marketing campaigns, and promotional events;
  • Participate in seminars, events, and trade fairs. (Some evenings, overnights, and weekend work will be required )

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • B.A. in Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or another related discipline;
  • Must be LLQP and/or A&S licenced
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the life insurance industry
  • Concrete background in business development;
  • Excellent listening, communication, and telephone skills;
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral; Written and oral French an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
