Finance Manager
Due to an upcoming retirement, Bertie & Clinton Mutual Insurance Company (BCM) is seeking an experienced finance manager who will be a key contributor and support to our leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Manager is responsible for providing strong financial management and analysis for the company.
You will be responsible for supporting corporate strategy, budgeting and financial/regulatory reporting as well as the overall daily Finance/Accounting operations. You will be expected to continuously offer the CEO, Board of Directors and operational managers, a well thought-out perspective on how the company can meet or exceed its financial goals.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with the skills to anticipate problems and provide forward thinking solutions. You have a demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders. You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic, have a collaborative approach in implementing strategies and action plans that achieve company and department objectives.
To be considered for this important role, you must have an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) in good standing and preferably a background in P&C insurance. Mutual insurance experience would be a definite asset. You will have at least 10 years experience in an intermediate to senior finance position and be looking for the next step in your career.
