Job Description

1. The timely processing for commercial insurance certificates and claims management triage.
2. Administrative support of commercial lines activities including NSF cheques, inquiries, Accounts Receivables, Cancellations, Renewals and New Business.
3. Comply with policies, procedures and technology to support the commercial markets and clients.
4. Maintain productive, focused and professional commercial client interactions
5. Use brokerage branded, professional external sales materials and documentation
6. Clear, accurate, documented office procedures
7. Responsive and professional conduct when handling of client feedback

Accountability:

  1.  Being the point of contact for and completing the work associated with new and renewal business for selected accounts
  2.  Key contact to assigned clients/insurance markets
  3.  Identify opportunities to Account Round – gaps in coverage, additional lines, etc
  4.  Handle accounts receivable for the clients assigned to you – this includes NSF’s and Cancellations for Non-Payment, etc
  5.  Ensure quality risk selection and pricing to maximize underwriting profitability and increase market share.
  6.  Network and establish solid connections within the community
  7.  Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations procedures and workflow requirements
  8.  Maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments, and regulatory changes
  9.  Review and analyze policy coverage and claims experience of clients
  10.  Have a good knowledge of current contracted market appetites, binding authorities, specialties and wordings
  11.  Complete required education hours (8.3 monthly) by attending training sessions, webinars, completing reading material provided by management, attending Insurance Company seminars
  12.  Participate in all community events and functions.
