We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Lines Producer right in the Beaches of Toronto. They offer numerous markets for you to offer your clients, an existing book that will provide leads and referrals. This position has the flexibility to work both in the office and at home. Responsibilities:

– Achieve annual new business production goals through consultative sales to new prospects, of the Commercial Lines Division.
– Provide immediate follow up on referrals.
– Make prospecting calls and network to identify opportunities.
– Provide professional risk management advice to prospects and clients.
– Develop good relationships with insurance carriers represented.
– Obtain information for quotations and market account to various insurance carriers with assistance of service staff.
– Work with Account Managers to prepare proposals and present to prospects.
– Work with the Claims Team to coordinate the claims management process with the clients.
– Stay abreast of trends in insurance industry and pursue continuing education.
– Complete insurance coverage review with clients accurately and in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction with insurance program and insurance needs.
– The primary focus on sales with cross selling efforts into all lines of business.
– Due to changing business conditions, management may assign additional duties or functions to this position.

Required Competencies:

– A proven track record of sales success
– Insurance industry experience
– Effectively & professionally communicate in writing with clients and company representatives
– Maintain system documentation to track and follow up with opportunities
– Ability to meet and talk with people to build relationships and trust
– Desire to work in strong Team atmosphere
– Self-motivated with a desire to succeed
– Desire to control your own career
