Job Description
Our Client located in the downtown core of Toronto is looking to fill an assistant role in their marketing department. They offer excellent compensation packages including strong benefits, competitive wages & lots of room to grow.
Responsibilities:
Send submissions to various markets provided by account manager
Provide input if we feel it can be well placed elsewhere
Follow up with markets a/o marketing manager on progress of quotation and if deadline can be met
Address questions from underwriters
Obtain further information from account manager if necessary
Review limits and wording of quotes to what was requested
Arrange meetings with underwriters to discuss any issues
Create Premium Comparisons to provide an attractive spreadsheet that accurately and succinctly demonstrates the coverage quoted
Write Summary Memos to producers outlining markets approached, their outcomes, subjectivities and any other detail of interest to the producer
Attend product fairs & various insurer events to meet key people and represent Tredd at various industry functions
Meet with underwriters to discuss new opportunities, current renewals
Create Binders of Insurance for all accounts
Assist account managers with:
Compiling submissions
Formatting spreadsheets
Issue Pink Sips
Create power point proposals/presentations
Manage and update quarterly Insurer premium report
Assistance when required with reception and booking flights for Producers
Write Press Releases and send to markets and industry publications
Website maintenance – minor changes to website
Qualifications:
3+ years Commercial Lines experience
RIBO Licensed
Intuitive with technology
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – especially Excel & Outlook
