Full-Time Commercial Lines Marketer
Job Description
The role our client is actually interviewing for is a commercial lines marketer but it would be different than most marketing positions. The individual selected would be a marketer and remarketer with a gate keeper roll. They are very conscious of the type and quality of business they place.
The selected candidate would need to have strong relationships with underwriters, the ability to push back with producers and the ability to negotiate with underwriters and producers to get the policy placed how they want it.
They would prefer that you be technically strong and Power broker would be a plus.
- Managing a marketing and remarketing portfolio
- The preparation of documentation, which includes submissions, proposals, comparison spreadsheets, binders and endorsements
- Analyzing client coverages, exposures and loss experience, to determine risk requirements
- Coordinating the discussion of renewal strategies with Producers and Senior Account Managers
- Handling routine inquiries
- Ensuring accurate processing of policy documentation
- Attending training and other business related courses
- Maintaining professional relationships with underwriters, co-workers and clients
- Providing exceptional and prompt service to Producers, Senior Account Managers and clients
