Rai Grant Insurance Brokers is an established, diverse, fast-paced and friendly large brokerage with our head office located in Markham, Ontario.  We are currently seeking an organized, detail oriented Customer Service Representative to work within our Commercial department at our Markham office.

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working directly with Producers and Insurance companies for the day to day   servicing of commercial insurance accounts.

• Processing all policy changes, reviewing all new policies and endorsements to confirm accuracy and forwarding to clients.

• Completing renewal reviews and re-marketing policies as required.

• Maintain professional relationships with Insurers and underwriters

• Claims reporting on behalf of the client

• Responsible for the review of commercial client renewals

• Responsible for accuracy of policy documents and timely delivery of renewals

• Provide customer service which includes endorsements, cancellations, billing, insurance contracts, certificates, binders, statement of values, quoting, cross-selling, up-selling and general inquiries including phone calls and emails

• Review customer’s current coverage and assess whether coverage is sufficient or not

• Provide recommendations to customer if necessary to improve the overall product value

 

Qualifications:

• 3 years of commercial experience. RIBO license will be a condition of employment, but will consider candidates with underwriting or insurer experience

• Proven customer service skills

• Excellent communications skills

• Sound working knowledge of commercial products and wordings

• Ability to work with little supervision

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• Candidate must be comfortable in a technology dependent environment.

• Professional, friendly and respectful in all interactions with company partners and colleagues
