Commercial Lines Account Manager
Account Manager’s role is to assist with providing insurance solutions to existing clients.
The successful candidate will require: above average service and communication skills, planning and organization abilities, and the capability to meet service time lines.
Qualifications:
• 3 years experience in Insurance (Commercial experience an asset)
• Work well in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Tam/Epic, Microsoft Word, Excel an asset
• Current RIBO license necessary
• Must be able to prioritize work and work under pressure
• Must be professional, courteous
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail & accuracy
• CAIB, CIP, CRM designations would be an asset
Key Responsibilities:
• Process new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
• Update underwriting information
• Prepare pre-renewal client material
• Prepare client premium proposals
• Bind coverage and order Policies
• Check and send out policy documents
• Prepare insurance binders, invoices & billing material
• Arrange premium financing quotes & contracts
• Review lease and other contracts
• Respond to client inquiries & requests
• Correspond with underwriters
