Full-Time Commercial Client Account Assistant
Job Description
Working in Commercial Lines as Account Executive(s) Assistant. This role will focus on assisting Account Executive(s) in servicing a Commercial Lines Book of Business. The Book of Business consists of multiple and diversified small to mid-size commercial accounts. The accounts are very active and eligible persons must be able to work in a fast paced environment at the same time pay attention to detail and organizational skills.
Essential Job Functions
1. Preparing and Issuing Certificates of Insurance: including Liability, Auto Leasing , Owned Contractor’s Equipment Mortgagee and Tenant Certificates
2. Must be able to work effectively with TAM and Excel in order to:
3. Assist in updating Summaries of Insurance for renewal, issuing proposals and Binders of Insurance.
4. Create and Update Price Comparisons
5. Requesting, Checking and Invoicing Policy Endorsements
6. Checking and Invoice Policy Renewal documents.
7. Handling of own abeyance’s and assisting in Account Executive(s) abeyance’s.
8. Review of Pre-qualification Documents and issue appropriate Pre-Qualification Letter
9. Perform other duties, assignments and special projects, as required
Qualifications
1. Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree
2. RIB(O) licence is required
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial lines experience is required
4. Experience with The Agency Manager (TAM) and Compuquote is preferred
5. 2 Year Insurance Program graduate an asset
