Our Client is one of Canada’s largest insurance brokerages and they continue to grow. With more than 800 insurance professionals and 25 offices across Canada, their team harnesses their collective strengths to deliver exceptional service, coupled with their local expertise.

They currently have a new job opening in their Commercial Department. It requires assistance to Commercial Account Executives with respect to the book of business, provide service to clients and liaise with insurance companies.

Key Job Responsibilities
• Handle day to day client servicing requirements and provide administrative support to new business production where applicable
• Responsible for accuracy of policy documents and timely delivery of renewals
• Perform the needed internal support for Producers, Accounting Department and others.
• Handle day-to-day client file activity on behalf of the Commercial Service Team
– Assist with reporting of claims and updating underwriting schedules
• Keep up to date with markets and changing coverages within the industry.
• Analyze client coverage, exposures and loss experience to determine risk requirements
• Review of wordings and conduct wording comparisons
• Do renewal comparison documents and participate in large account or stewardship reviews where necessary
• Request premium finance options
• Work with producers on cross selling opportunities and accessing resources
• Adherence to internal audit and compliance to workflow
• Participate in insurer networking events
• Assist with marketing of account and negotiating with underwriters

Education and Experience Requirements
• RIBO license required along with maintenance of continuing education hours
• CRM, CAIB and CIP designations an asset
• Minimum 3 to 5 years Commercial Insurance experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Great technical and negotiating skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and EPIC
