Commercial Account Manager – Broker
Our client is a mid size brokerage located in the Richmond Hill area. They are looking for a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of the marketing process for an account from the initial submission to the binding of coverage.
- Day to day management and service of mid – large market commercial accounts determining the appropriate markets to be approached for assigned accounts,
- Assisting the commercial producers in market pick selections,
- Obtaining and analyzing quotations and declinations from various insurance companies,
- Preparing high quality and accurate proposals for presentation renewals,
- Retention, maintain accounts receivable
Experience Required: ·
- RIBO License
- 4- 5 years Broker Experience – Commercial Lines
- Good problem solving, negotiation, decision making and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance coverage, standard industry forms, and various insurance programs.
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel and POWER BROKER an asset
