Full-Time Commercial Account Manager
Job Description
The main purpose for this professional is to provide the best service to our Producers, Account Managers and Clients.
This individual will:
- Design, secure and deliver the best insurance program and provide professional expertise to our clients
- Assist our client teams in preparing Submissions, Proposals and Binders
- Prepare documentation such as letters, certificates of insurance as required for our clients, insurers and other parties
- Process endorsement changes and invoice transactions
- Handle routine inquiries and facilitate endorsement requests
- Ensure accurate processing of policy documentation such as renewals, new policies and endorsements
- Provide our internal and external clients with prompt, courteous and professional service
- Cross sell, upsell and write new business
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Commercial Lines experience
- Strong technical insurance knowledge in the placement of all classes of commercial insurance
- RIBO & drivers licence is required, and other industry qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, etc. would be considered an asset
Skills:
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to use creativity in structuring commercial product proposals
- A strong attention to detail
- Computer knowledge in MS Office products such as Word and Excel, and experience with The Agency Manager (TAM) would be considered an asset
