Temporary Claims Clerk

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for opening and closing claims, process claims transactions and review independent adjuster reports. He/she will perform other administrative functions and support the Claims Manager and VP of Claims.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or equivalent
  • Personal or Commercial Lines claims administration experience is an asset
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of products
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • CIP or working towards would be an asset
  • This position is subject to appropriate background checks that may include, credential, employment, credit, criminal and reference checks.
