We are currently looking to add an experienced Property Adjuster to our Mississauga team.

Competencies required to succeed
A successful independent adjuster with ClaimsPro will:

- travel when and where necessary to investigate a claim
- continuously learn to be a real claims expert in the area.
Responsibilities
The Independent Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. This involves marketing and follow-up of opportunities in a timely manner. The profile duties create a dynamic portfolio requiring extremely well-honed organizational skills that enable day to day activities to be completed while allowing efficient and effective progress of file management activities.
Education, knowledge and experience required
- A University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance & a minimum of 3 years experience in handling property claims (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing CIP designation
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner.
- Experience working with claims databases, open office, Xactimate, and other technology tools
- Proactive and positive track record of customer service
- A proven commitment to ongoing education and learning.
