CLAIMS ACCOUNT MANAGER

Requirements:

  • Current RIBO license
  • Working knowledge of  The Agency Manager (TAM) system
  • Working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • High performance team player
  • Positive & outgoing attitude
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail & accuracy
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, and follow-up on uncompleted tasks
  • Sound Personal Insurance knowledge and experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Personal Lines home & auto claims that come into the office
  • Daily follow ups with adjusters on status of all claims-making sure activities are current and complete
  • Updating all Claim summaries
  • Handle any claim inquires or concerns from clients
  • Making sure claims are being closed efficiently and effectively
  • Review & enter claim cheques into TAM.
  • Being able to act quickly and respond effectively to all client concerns
  • Be empathetic and caring to every claim call that comes into the office
  • Add any opening notices not reported to us to the system and call client to make sure they are okay and to get all the details on the claim
  • Working closely with the Account Managers and the Account Executives
  • Back up other Claims Account Manager for vacation & time off
