INSURANCE AUDITOR
GENERAL:
We are looking for an individual with appropriate experience and demeanor to conduct insurance audits of Canadian Lloyd’s Coverholders and Claims TPAs and their compliance with Delegated Binding Authority and TPA Agreements. Travel during parts of up to three weeks per month is required. While we are looking for an individual to serve in the capacity of an independent contractor, we would be interested in extending a full-time offer of employment to the right individual.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The individual will work from home and will ultimately be responsible for arranging insurance audits of Lloyd’s Coverholders and TPAs in Ontario. Successful completion of duties requires good communication skills in contacting Lloyd’s Brokers to request appropriate information, effective time management and scheduling skills, strong oral, analytical and report writing capabilities, expense consciousness and strict adherence to demanding deliverables requirements.
Extensive and appropriate support and training will be provided by existing staff professionals who have worked in these areas for more than 20 years.
SKILLS:
The ideal candidate:
• Has extensive knowledge of the Canadian Property/Casualty insurance and claims markets for various classes of business;
• Possesses superior oral, writing, and analytical skills;
• Possesses strong organizational skills;
• Is proficient in MSWord and MS Excel;
• Has knowledge of the Lloyd’s market; and
• Possesses and maintains a professional and consultative demeanor.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate:
• Possesses a college degree or equivalent professional training;
• Has insurance or other meaningful industry designations;
• Has demonstrated job stability in insurance organizations;
• Possesses a valid passport; and
• Can travel during parts of up to three weeks per month.
