Aon is looking for an Associate Vice President, Health & Benefits Consulting
As part of an industry leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health and Benefits Consulting Practice within Aon Risk Solutions (ARS) in our Toronto, Ontario office. As an AVP, Health & Benefits Consulting, you will report directly to our Chief Innovation Officer for Canada.
Your Impact as AVP, Health & Benefits Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of our Health & Benefits (H&B) Innovation Steering Committee
- Project manage innovation initiatives from start to finish
- Work with subject matter experts to identify gaps between client needs and existing Aon services
- Research industry trends and competitors to identify marketplace opportunities for Aon
- Understand global Aon Health solutions and assess applicability to the Canadian market
- Assist in recommending and prioritizing new product development, solutions of significant enhancements to existing solutions
- Lead formal assessment process and business case development for innovation investments
- Project manage development of new solutions working with a variety of internal stakeholders
- Work with marketing, PR, sales, training & development and knowledge management teams to roll out new innovative solutions internally and externally
- Retrospective evaluation of new offers including satisfaction, revenue generation and profitability
- Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders on innovation initiatives, including:
- Canadian H&B Analytics team
- Canadian H&B Health Strategies team
- Aon innovation centres in Singapore and Ireland
- Aon Hewitt, ARS and Aon Benfield product development, analytics and knowledge management teams
- Global Aon Health & Benefits teams
- Lead and deliver presentations/communications to clients, prospects or industry seminars
- Deliver consistent, positive operational results with the best balance of investment and efficiency
How to Apply
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise: Job Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, economics, or related field
- Actuarial fellowship designation (FSA, FCIA or FIA) is a must
- Strong health and benefits consulting expertise with highly developed industry acumen
- At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in a group benefits consulting/insurance environment
- Ability to supervise staff in various areas of responsibility
- Exceptional technical expertise and the proven ability to remain current with industry trends, provincial and federal legislative policies and changes
- Demonstrated ability to lead new product initiatives that drive business results
- Detail and results-oriented; able to balance multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work with diverse groups of internal stakeholders to build solutions and drive results
