Full-Time Administrative Associate- Claims Support

Job Description

As an Administrative Associate, the employee will be responsible for a variety of administrative activities supporting claim adjusters in the day to day management of injury claims. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Invoice payments using customer’s claim system
  • Various administrative tasks such as sorting and organizing faxes and letters
  • Working with industry specific software (HCAI, SmartSimple, etc.)
  • Data entry

This is an excellent opportunity for new grads or those looking to learn about the insurance industry.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma
  • Quick learner with excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong software skills (Windows, MS Office) with the ability to learn new applications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must work independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills
  • 1-3 years experience in insurance or healthcare an asset
